Songs From Commonwealth

SFCIn 1999, I released a collection of songs called Songs From Commonwealth. All but 3 of the songs on this album were recorded in the dorm room of my good friend, Matt Kassanchuk. Matt and I were both freshmen at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and we poured hours and hours into making these songs sound as good as we knew how.

I’m still really proud of what we accomplished. I’m much more a minister than a musician now (though I consider myself both), so I recognize a few dubious lines of theology. But all in all, there’s some pretty decent stuff here from 18 and 20 year old kids.

For the moment, these songs are available for free download from Amie Street. There’s no telling how long that will last. Enjoy!

p.s. You can preview Songs From Commonwealth on the music page.

“O”mazing Grace

My brothers-in-law first alerted me to this ministerial masterpiece last week while Kathleen and I were in NJ on vacation. I won’t say much, except that this guy provides all the impetus there is for being prepared on Sunday mornings. I mean this is just BAD.
